Prism window film

A prism film carries a repeating faceted texture that bends the light passing through the glass. The effect is a pane that sparkles when the sun reaches it and reads as a fine texture the rest of the time. Micro prism is the same idea at a finer scale. Both break up the view through the glass without the flat look of a frost.
